Console Model Number Decoder
Every console carries a model code on its regulatory sticker, and that code tells a story: which hardware revision it is, when it was built, what changed inside, and which known faults to watch for. Type a code like CUH-1216A or AGS-101 into the decoder — a code that is not listed individually resolves to its series — or browse the full revision tables for each console family below.

Where this data comes from
Model data compiled from psdevwiki.com (GNU FDL 1.2), consolemods.org and manufacturer documentation. Model numbers are the codes printed on the console's regulatory sticker, usually on the bottom or back of the unit. Regional suffixes (the digits or letters after the base code) indicate the sales region and do not change the hardware revision. If a model number is missing here, it was left out rather than guessed — the table only lists codes verified against documented sources.
