Gallery of Portable Gaming Systems
                    by Marriott_Guy
Though our site focuses on consoles, like most gamers we also enjoy our portable systems for gaming on the go and quick bursts of fun.  We thought it might be helpful to provide some information on these little buddies for the collectors out there.

The following is a historical list of handheld systems that accept interchangeable cartridges and an integrated display (screen) that have been released, along with their respective picture, details and specifications.  A few clones, emulation devices and tablets have been included, but for the most part only officially licensed models are featured.  Abbreviations are used for the display type:
    LCD = Liquid Crystal Display
    LED = Light Emitting Diode
    TFT = Thin Film Transistor (LCD)
VFD = Vacuum Fluorescent Display
OLED = Organic Light Emitting Diode
LCD (IPS tech) = LCD In-plane Switching
The original model, along with major revisions, are listed but chassis color variations, or LE/SE editions, are not.  Click a tab to review systems with technical specifications during the respective decade.  This gallery will be updated as new additions are identified or become available.  Enjoy!
