It’s been a few weeks now since Marriott_Guy lured us out of our cave using Reese’s peanut butter cups, and promises of console history glory. So now that we are settled in we wanted to take the opportunity to do a formal introduction…

Ahem…

Greetings! We are Dark Watcher. Some know us as “He who casts shadows in darkness”. We enjoy quiet evenings, and long walks on the beach. Part geek…part jock…all sexy.

Seriously though…We enjoys videogames like most, but have preferences for consoles. Perhaps it is because our first gaming experience was on a console. Perhaps it is because we did not own a computer till the mid 1990′s. We have been around since the early beginnings of the console market, and have always been fascinated by its evolution. This fascination manifested into a desire to learn and catalog console history. With the VGCL team we plan to do just that.

So if you have read this far it means that you are either drawn by our sexy, have a good sense of humor, share a common interest for console history, or a combination of 2 or more.

We promise to always share an unbiased opinion of all consoles.
We will never be a raving fanboy lunatic.
We will judge consoles by design, playability, and most importantly the games.
We promise to not take ourselves too seriously (as you no doubt have noticed)
