Blog Ahoy!

It doesn’t seem all that long ago that I was approached by Marriott_Guy about a new idea he had for a console review website. I don’t even remember how we actually started talking, just that a common bond of being obsessive hardware collectors made us quick friends. The enthusiasm MG has for this hobby is infectious and led me down a path to become a reviewer for his site!

Fast forward a few months and the VGCL is alive and growing every day! I hope that everybody enjoys what we are writing and finds it useful in their quests as whatever manner of video game collector or gamer they are. There’s a lot of ground for us to cover, but we’re working on it as fast as our schedules will allow.

I plan on using this blog for a couple of things. I want to talk about what I go through as a reviewer. This site has caused me to set up and really play a lot of consoles I had bought to use as eye candy and I’m finding a lot of fun games I would have never considered playing as well as a new respect for games in general. I also plan on posting periodic articles that don’t really fit the site, but that I think would be of interest to gamers or collectors. These will cover everything from classic computers to what I happen to be playing or collecting for at the moment.

I hope that you find my blog interesting and I’m looking forward to your comments!
