Thank you EA chief operating officer Peter Moore for sharing the photo
EA chief operating officer Peter Moore sent out a series of messages on Twitter reminiscing on the Sega Dreamcast. It stirred within us our own memories.
Has it really been 15 years!?
When you consider yourself a console historian, and find yourself excited about every video game console ever developed, it is hard not to play favorites… We admit, the Sega Dreamcast has a warm place in our heart. Even before we had come to possess our own Dreamcast, we would find ourselves lurking at the old Sega of America location at 650 Townsend in San Francisco. Their office lobby had a Dreamcast kiosk that allowed you to play many of their latest titles. We lost many of a productive hour back then.
The Dreamcast remains a gem in our meager console collection. It attests to a time of innovation, and Sega’s greatest hardware accomplishment. It was short lived on the shelves, but long lived for the changes it made to an industry.
