Ole DW picked up this short story not realizing at first that it was associated with the Apple IOS videogame series of the same name. We just saw it was a nice short book by one of our favoured authors Brandon Sanderson.
We enjoyed the the development of the character Siris, and his interactions with the character Isaline. We appreciated the interpretation of a society that wants freedom, then turns on you because they fear what freedom actually is. We enjoyed the simplicity of Siris logging his experiences for the first time because it represented how we take the simpler things for granted.
It was short, sweet, and made us crave more. If Brandon’s point was to make you want to play the game, then he accomplished that goal. Now we have to find time to play Infinity Blade.
