It would appear that someone had taken the time to publish an official novel based on the Darksiders game series. The cover of course features the horsemen Death and War. How could we not pick this book up?

The storyline takes place ages before the events of Darksiders and Darksider’s II. This was actually a good book. The only concern is whether readers would truly get into the book unless they have played any of the Darksiders games. The book itself is a good tie in, and offers some details of the horsemen’s early beginnings. If anything, perhaps it would encourage the reader to play the games.
